Lakewood Farmers Market
Lineman, Jon Geiselman and Meter Technician, Cory Parsons take time out of the day to meet area residents. Lakeview Light & Power will be back at the Lakewood Farmers Market in Summer 2018. We may have giveaways available to any customer that brings a copy of their bill. Hope to see you there.
For the third year, LLP staff and board members joined together with “LASA” Living Access Support Alliance to support our local families by purchasing gifts. Gifts were selected from a “giving tree” provided by LASA that included the wishes and/ or needs of individuals in the program. LASA is a community supported agency committed to the prevention of both homelessness and recurrent homelessness. Serving approximately 80 families at any given time including over 150 children. LLP is very happy to be given the opportunity to support our local families this Holiday season.
Fun Day at Fort Steilacoom Park
The City of Lakewood held the annual Truck and Tractor Event at Ft. Steilacoom on October 14. It was an opportunity for Lakewood business’s to show off their big equipment and a chance for the kids to get up close and sit in the driver’s seat and honk the horn. Lakeview employees Ben Reygers & Terry (with a T) Elvrom hosted the Lakeview Light & Power tent. From the photos it looks like it was a great time for all.
October was Breast Cancer Awareness month with line workers and field crews at Lakeview Light & Power are making a noteworthy fashion statement by donning pink hard hats. Office staff participated as well wearing “Pink Power” polo shirts to remind women about the benefits of screening and early detection. Lakeview Light & Power also made a donation to the Northwest Hope & Healing Foundation.
